About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist, Junior Project Manager, or Project Manager to support our environmental consulting projects in the oil and gas sector across Colorado. This role is based in Broomfield, CO , and requires candidates to either reside locally or be willing to relocate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental stewardship, a strong grasp of regulatory compliance (ECMC), and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of environmental remediation projects within the oil and gas industry, ensuring compliance with project scope, schedules, and state regulations.
  • Oversee site assessments, environmental impact evaluations, and regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and field personnel, to develop and implement project plans.
  • Prepare and review technical reports and regulatory documentation per state and local requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot potential challenges, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to provide updates and facilitate approvals.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations related to oil and gas operations (e.g., ECMC, CO DWR, CDPHE).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to coach, problem-solve, and lead diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in environmental consulting, preferably within the oil and gas industry.

Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced office environment with occasional fieldwork in varying weather conditions. Travel to project sites and client meetings as required.

Position Details

  • Full-Time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional extended hours.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license.
