We are seeking an energetic Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Environmental Operations Consultant to join our Fairview Heights location. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the EH&S team, whose responsibilities blend an office coordinator, operational assistant, IT specialist, and field environmental consultant. The ideal person for this role will need to have a strong grasp of team management and knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques of environmental science, industrial hygiene and occupational safety. The applicant must be flexible and a strategic thinker with advanced knowledge of Microsoft products and able to take on a variety of tasks. This position will work closely with the operations team while also assisting the field teams during periods of high volume. This position has the opportunity for national and international travel but not a requirement.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

• Must be able to sit for long period of time
• Must be comfortable to work in a remote and/or hybrid environment
• Must be flexible to work outside of the 8:30am – 5:30pm business hours if needed
• Must be flexible to travel
