Job Description
The Electrical Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and wiring complex machinery and equipment according to schematics. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, electrical wiring experience, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components, sub-assemblies, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions.
- Route and connect wiring harnesses, cables, and electrical components in accordance with schematics and standard wiring practices.
- Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and adjustment of parts to ensure proper operation and functionality.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving assembly or wiring issues during the build process.
- Document work completed, report issues, and suggest improvements to assembly processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred, ideally in a manufacturing or machinery environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring standards and safety practices.
