JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Dual Rate Table Games Dealer-Full Time
Department: Table Games
Employment Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to (Supervisor Title): Table Games Supervisor
Position Summary/General Description:
The Dual-Rate Table Games Dealer is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while dealing table games according to established policies and procedures. In addition, this role involves stepping into a supervisory capacity as needed, ensuring smooth operations, enforcing gaming regulations, and maintaining a positive team environment.
This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and expertise in both dealing and supervisory roles.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Dealer Responsibilities:
- Accurately deal table games such as Blackjack, Poker, Craps, or Roulette in accordance with company policies, gaming regulations, and internal controls.
- Provide an engaging and friendly gaming experience for all players while maintaining professionalism.
- Ensure proper handling and accounting of chips, cards, dice, and other gaming materials.
- Monitor the integrity of the game and enforce rules to ensure fair play.
- Recognize and report any irregularities or suspicious activity promptly.
- Handle customer transactions for “buy-in” and “payoffs.”
- Verify fills, credit, and chip amounts issued.
- Make proper change and color ups.
- Recognize winning/losing bets and situations.
- Communicate effectively.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned
Supervisor Responsibilities (Dual-Rate):
- Oversee assigned table games to ensure adherence to gaming regulations, house policies, and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to dealers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Monitor and evaluate dealer performance, offering coaching and feedback as needed.
- Resolve guest disputes or escalations promptly and professionally.
- Complete administrative tasks such as shift reports, incident logs, and performance documentation.
- Collaborate with management to ensure smooth transitions during shift changes.
- Be proficient in all assigned tables.
- Accurately track bank roll of assigned players at all assigned tables.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensures same of all employees.
- Accurately determine table win/loss; oversee games in progress, customers and employees in the pit area.
- Communicate information to incoming floor supervisor.
- Maintain knowledge of compliance with all dealing procedures.
- Maintain total understanding of Table Games manual for games supervised.
- Assist with the dealer rotation.
- Ensure maximum game protection (e.g., observe assigned games; analyze customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation in play).
- Protect and/or issue all sensitive equipment, (cards, dice, shoes)
- Train and help develop Dealer’s skills; counsel and work with dealers on procedural problems.
- Assist Pit Manager in completing all duties.
- Serve as a role model for subordinates.
- Assist with tournaments and/or promotions.
- Accurately tracks table drop.
- Ensure all Table Games dealers comply with all dealing procedures.
- Ensure that games move at an appropriate pace.
- Build relationships and loyalty with guests through sincere and meaningful interactions (e.g., learn guests’ names and preferences; connect with them individually and professionally; smile; make eye contact and verbally greet guests).
- At all times maintain a courteous, positive and professional working relationship with all LDC personnel and the general public (e.g., coworkers, clients and vendors).
- Work under pressure; maintain regular and punctual attendance including working odd and unusual hours, weekends and holidays.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Certification preferred.
- 6 months prior dealing experience required.
- If a candidate does not have dealer experience, they must provide proof of a training certification and successfully pass an audition to demonstrate a full understand the games.

Essential Mental Demands:
- Requires the ability to solve problems, plan, make decisions and interpret data 51-100% of the time.
- Requires the ability organize and read 25-50% of the time.
Work Environment AND Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a noisy, smoky, and brightly lit environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the casino’s operations.
Other Requirements:
- Obtain and maintain a gaming license through the Pueblo of Laguna’s Gaming Control Board.
- Comply with LDC and the Federal Government Bank Secrecy Act by acquiring and/or maintaining a Title 31 Certification.
- Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening.
