Job Description
Since 2010, Floofins & Co. has been a pet-care industry leader. We are a family-owned, locally-owned dog walking and pet-sitting business that takes pride in providing exceptional care for our clients and their floofins.
Primary Responsibilities - Dog Walking - providing safe and attentive private neighborhood dog walking services.
- Pet Sitting - providing detail-orientated services for cats, bunnies, fish, birds, and other pets.
- Most work is from 4PM-10PM, Monday - Friday with vacation care requests on weekends.
Location/Schedule: - We are currently hiring in Elmhurst and the surrounding areas.
- We would prefer a candidate who can work one weekend or more per month.
- The position will start closer to 10 hours weekly, but most staff members can grow the route to 20 hours weekly.
- Floofins & Co. services Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale, Indian Head Park, La Grange, Lisle, Lombard, Oak Brook, Villa Park, Westchester, Western Springs, Westmont, Willowbrook, Wheaton, Woodridge and nearby communities.
Compensation/Benefits $15 - 22 / hour (starting at $15 - $17 per hour plus bonuses and gratuities)

The Responsibilities - Pet care is a fun, professional opportunity to care for neighbors floofins your neighborhood!
- We design the schedules so that travel time is limited to 20 minutes or less.
- For dog walks, you will take a walk with your canine friend(s), serve fresh water, and, upon request, provide treats, food, or medication.
- For cat sitting, you'll play with cats (of course), plus scoop the litter box, refresh water, and provide treats, food, or medication.
- Vacation clients may include an array of animals and their care and home care basics like curbing the trash and picking up mail.
- During all visits, you will send a journal of your adventures to the pet parent with cute action photos!
- We expect every applicant to have a passion for dogs, cats, and all animals in their care.
- We have a supportive management team; we expect you to contact us when you have questions.
