Business Operating Hours/Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Position Summary: As part of the Road Services team, you will play a critical role in serving our customers and representing the company with your excellent customer relations skills. Our Road Service Technicians are expected to maintain or repair a wide range of equipment from smaller earth-moving equipment up to large aerial lifts. The ability to independently and accurately diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment is essential. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to function effectively and efficiently in emergency situations. Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot breakdowns of equipment to determine the extent of damage or malfunctions
• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
• Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
• Complete shop paperwork/work orders
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and vendors
• Operates company-provided field service vehicles safely.
• Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and practices of the company.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What do you need?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or experience with similar diesel equipment preferred.
• Must be proficient with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems (EX: electrical troubleshooting & hydraulic system troubleshooting)
• Must be willing to travel daily for work and training as necessary (local travel)
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to work independently and successfully switch between tasks throughout the day.
• Must be able to work the necessary schedule which may include long days, nights, and/or weekends.
