DIESEL MECHANICS
NEEDED ASAP IN KINGSTON – ALL LEVELS
2nd shift (Afternoons/Evenings) Monday - Thursday - and 3-day weekends !

We are seeking a few skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanics to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet. (Primarily working on coach diesel buses.)

2nd shift (Afternoons/Evenings) Monday - Thursday - and 3-day weekends!
(Following a few weeks training on 1st shift. Switching to 1st shift is an option, further down the road, by seniority, when openings become available)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel engines.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in motor coaches and trucks. Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test and repair vehicles. Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems.

• Maintain detailed records of services and repairs. Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 1+ years’ experience with diesel vehicles. ( Primarily working on coach diesel buses.) ALL LEVELS 1+ year and up - Welcome to apply

• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical. And you must have a valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment. Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)

• Looking for “self starters” who can work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to multitask. Must have a strong work ethic, integrity, and a willingness to learn.
