Infusion Solutoins is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a Full time or PRN basis. In this role, you will lead and provide direct patient care in our infusion suite, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. You will be responsible for various patient care activities, including obtaining vital signs, initiating and maintaining peripheral intravenous (PIV) access, administering injections, and accurately documenting patient care. Additionally, you will oversee ancillary clinical team members to ensure safe care delivery.

Infusion Solutions is a healthcare platform focused on enhancing patient care and access to infusion therapies. Our personalized in-suite infusion therapies prioritize convenience and comfort, with a comprehensive range of treatments including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate patient consultation and review of health history.

• Ensure prescribed therapies are appropriate for each patient.

• Perform physical examinations and screenings as needed.

• Review, interpret, order, and administer appropriate tests, including blood work.

• Provide ongoing care information and educational resources to patients and their families.

• Deliver direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs, PIV insertion, monitoring, and removal, administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, and managing medication administration.

• Maintain and manage PICC line and midline care, including maintenance and removal.

• Adhere to sterile techniques when reconstituting and mixing medications according to package insert guidelines.

• Document all patient care delivered in the infusion suite, including lab results, immunization records, and changes in condition.

• Communicate with referring providers about patient care, medication administration, and tolerance.

• Monitor inventory and receive orders from approved vendors and pharmacies.

• Track, order, and distribute patient-specific medications from specialty pharmacy providers, ensuring proper storage conditions.

• Monitor and maintain suite equipment, reporting any concerns promptly.

• Participate in company physical inventories as per policy.

• Track and perform inventory functions in InfuseFlow, including cycle inventory counts.

• Delegate tasks to other team members in the suite when appropriate.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.

• Current, unrestricted state nurse practitioner license.

• A proven record of satisfactory performance in previous and current employment, with positive references from employers.

• Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and INS regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with Medix Infusion staff, vendors, and patients.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, fostering productive working relationships.

• Proficiency in using company email, Microsoft Teams, and electronic medical records.

• Competency in using self-service payroll software for time and attendance, benefits, and pay statements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to navigate Internet Explorer.

• Familiarity with CPR+, InfuseFlow, and RX Tool Kit.

• Sensitivity and awareness of cultural and language differences in patient care delivery.

• Strong mathematical skills, particularly in drug calculation to ensure safe and accurate medication ordering and administration.
