Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.
This Fall Internship is from September through December 13th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work part-time hours (10-29 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9-6 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Our team supports the Game Shows Division. We work on Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! and any other property currently in development.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Our intern will help our team's designers and editors execute social and digital asset creation for Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, and potentially projects associated with our Licensing and Development teams as well. This role is a combination of production design, and graphic design. Must be able to deliver creative requests and assets with light supervision. Projects include, but are not limited to: emails, microsites, social content (e.g. GIFs, thumbnails), and banner ads. Must posses a solid understanding of traditional graphic design, plus static, video and animated asset production, and best practices for social and digital assets.
Our ideal candidate will also have some animation capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Min. 1-2 years in social and/or digital environment
- Proficient working knowledge of Abobe Creative Suite required
- Agency and/or content studio experience is required
- Great compositing skills, typography, color correction, retouching required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Animation capabilities are a plus
- PowerPoint and Keynote experience a plus
- Broadcast media experience is a plus
The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
