The position can be based at either our South Hackensack, NJ or Chester, NJ office.
As the Design Engineer Sports & Recreation, you will be responsible for the design of various sports & recreation projects.
Responsibilities:
- The Design Engineer is a graduate of civil, structural, or environmental engineering
- The facets of design include horizontal and vertical alignment calculations, superelevation design, grading, drainage design consisting of both hydraulic and hydrologic design of pipes and ditches
- Sports &Recreation projects varying from baseball, football, and soccer fields, both natural and artificial turf, parks and playgrounds, tennis & pickle ball courts, swimming pools and outdoor fitness gyms
- Utilize AutoCAD as a tool for design and will work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer
- The Design Engineer will assist entry level engineers become proficient in AutoCAD and will work independently on small projects and collaboratively on large projects
- Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 5 -10 years of experience
- Professional Engineer (P.E)
- ASCE classification is Grade III/IV
- Experience with sports & recreation projects
