Sales and Design Consultant

Sales Design Specialist
Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented  Sales Design Specialist to join our team. This role combines customer account management with design support, helping clients bring their projects to life while ensuring a seamless sales experience. The Sales Design Specialist will work closely with clients in the showroom and through direct account management, providing expert guidance on products, dimensions, and design solutions. This is a client-facing role where creativity, design, and customer service come together. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this is a full-time position based onsite in our office in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Who You Are:

• Highly self-motivated individual with a driven mentality, strong attention to detail, time management, and excellent organization and communication skills.
• Quick learner with a customer service background and knowledge of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through product selection, design considerations, and order processes.
• Assist clients in the showroom by providing design recommendations, measurements, and tailored solutions for their projects.
• Prepare accurate quotes and orders that align with client needs and company standards.
• Manage customer accounts by processing orders, monitoring progress, and maintaining clear, proactive communication.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Maintain showroom presentation, keeping displays, samples, and materials organized and client ready.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in design or related field preferred.
• Experience in sales, client services, or design-related roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
• Ability to read dimensions, provide design input, and support technical aspects of projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements:

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• All-day use of a computer
• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Movement throughout office, showroom, and plant spaces, helping customers

Compensation & Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr , depending on experience and qualifications.
