Other duties may be assigned. Strategic Planning - Practice's focus, plans for hiring office personnel, and identifies target patients Staffing & Scheduling - Collects resumes, interviewing, enforces handbook policies & other notices, scheduling, reviews time cards, and approves payroll exceptions such as overtime and penalty pay General Office Management and Oversight - Maintains the business practice plan, audits daily charts, reviews various daily reports, ensures schedule is booked according to office protocol, ensuring scheduled appointments are confirmed at least 2 days prior to appointments, and assists CE tracking for doctors and staff Assist and Implementation in HR Functions - Oversees staffing, manages and supports personnel, handles resolutions on patient and staff grievances, assists in employee office job descriptions and performance reviews, reviews employee time sheets, documents tardiness and absences, and trains staff & manages site visits of externs or potential candidates Billing & Collections - Performs data entry & banking and assists with billing, collections, and insurance processing Computer Network Support Liaison - Acts as a liaison to maintenance of computers and computer networks, assists IT with technical issues resolution, and trains and supports users Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees within the office. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Leads daily morning huddles with doctor and team to discuss daily schedule and review weekly and monthly goals. Plans and facilitates weekly and monthly team meetings to review practice goals, recognize outstanding performance, discuss upcoming events, promotions, and programs, identify and solve problems, and provide training to team members. Education and/or Experience: 1+ years of managing a dental practice both on the operations and personnel side Experience utilizing Profit & Loss and other financial reports to manage monthly production goals Experience working for a Dental Service Organization is preferred Bilingual in Spanish is preferred If you’re ready to make an impact and help create some smiles that last a lifetime , we’d love to hear from you!
