Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Contractor Sought* MSI Health Solutions is looking for a dependable and professional independent contractor courier with the following:

* Routed Deliveries - Varying routes that have more of a set schedule to them.

** NOTE: routes may change unexpectedly based on customer needs

* STAT/On-Demand - Last-minute pickups and orders dispatched from a route manager or customer

* Backup/Standby - Fill in for route voids

* Services Sought for this contract, drivers will transport Home Medical Equipment to patient homes.

* Coverage Sought Reliable independent contractors to cover operations:

** Contractors with 5 or more days of availability will be given preference to contract

** Routes – Courier must be available for the 8.5 hours to complete route

* Driver is responsible for vehicle, fuel and insurance

* Must enter daily miles and hours into 3rd Party App - Bamboo

* Paid weekly through our 3rd Party administrator Open Force, IA with Bamboo entry.

*** Requirements for this contracted position ***

* * Be at least 21 years of age

* * Attentive to detail

* * Physically be able to consistently lift up to 75 lbs

* * Live within 25 miles of Grants Pass, Or

* * Must own a reliable and registered Cargo or Sprinter Van, will be utilized for this contract.

** If you own a car or SUV do not apply!

* * Maintain the STATE minimum bodily injury & property damage as primary commercial auto insurance

** Choose between maintaining your own workers’ compensation insurance or enrolling in the Occupational Accident Insurance Program.

** Candidates must pass a drug screen, background check, & complete E-learning modules.

** Maintain a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years. A daily motor vehicle report will verify your eligibility.

** Committed to driving in severe weather while providing customer service to our clients

** Compliance with customer-mandated appearance guidelines includes 1) wearing a solid-color MSI Polo, 2) along with solid-color pants (excluding athletic wear or sweatpants), 3) comfortable shoes/boots (no flip-flops, high heels, or sandals), 4) while prominently displaying the driver badge supplied by MSI Health Solutions.

*** Contractor Pay***

** Our 1099 contracts are available to eligible contractors on a first-come, first-served basis. The process to contract with MSI Health Solutions typically takes 2-5 days from start to finish. Due to the high demand for our contracts, we enforce a policy to remove inactive contractors during the pre-contracting phase.

** An EIN is mandatory, and you can obtain one for free by visiting IRS.gov.

** Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week, every Friday

***Fees***

** $10 weekly - MSI Professional Services Fee (Uniform, Security Badge, Background, MVR Reports, Onboarding, Invoicing & Billing Services)

** $30 weekly - Open Force (Offers Occupational Accident Insurance, WUD Liability Insurance, Discounts at Major Stores, Costco & Gas Stations, can opt in for Health, Dental and Wellness plans, Discounted business, tax & finance services, saving on vehicle rentals, leasing & maintenance services, also settlement advances for when you need funds)

** $ Optional - While Under Dispatch (WUD) Cheaper alternative to commercial insurance, will protect you while working only must still carry personal auto insurance) Estimated 2-3% of your total gross per week)
