Data Entry Specialist

Location : Washington, DC

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (35 hours/week)

Candidates MUST be able to commit to the schedule to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Data Entry Specialist will complete Basic data entry into Workday system (store all files in ServiceNow (but working with IT to move to Perceptive) - will route all approvals)
• Data Entry Specialist will enter invoices (check runs are 2x/week)
• Data Entry Specialist will process 60-100 invoices/day
• Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for processing most recent things in the queue for the next pay cycle.
• Data Entry Specialist will post wire for the end of the month, up to 200/month.
• Data Entry Specialist will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested

Requirements:

• Must be computer literate, accounting experience is not required - any previous a/p experience is helpful but not required
• Should be able to look at invoice, code it, and enter data into system)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Workday is GL system, NOT required. Will be trained
• ServiceNow (enterprise content management system) NOT required. Will be trained.
• Associates or bachelor's a plus but NOT required
• Microsoft Office Suite experience (client uses 365). Excel - will enter information into existing spreadsheet, copy/paste to/from an Outlook email
• Able to pick up quickly and learn the new phone system (Webex)
