Data Entry Clerk

Company in Matthews, NC is looking for a Data Entry Clerk as soon as possible. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Contract to hire. Pay = $17-18/hour.

Responsibilities

• The assignment is 90% working with numbers, key in invoices and item numbers.
• Enter orders into system and make any required adjustments.
• Research and correct items that require specific attention.
• Adhere to proper procedures for handling updates (address changes, cancellations).
• Learn and understand all categories in order to make the necessary adjustments.
• Recognize instances where exceptions will need to be entered directly into system.

Requirements

• 1+ year prior clerical / data entry experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong keyboard, data entry, and typing skills. Type 50 wpm accurately.
• Time Management.
