CoWorx is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join our team in Conway, NH!
This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay and long-term career growth potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal manufacturing, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a passion for delivering accurate quotes while maintaining company standards and customer satisfaction.
Primarily office-based with occasional time on the production floor.
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Full-Time, Day Shift | Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:

• Follow the quoting process, cost estimating, planning (routing), and pricing for customer orders.
• Assist customers and prospective clients in a professional, courteous manner—striving for 100% satisfaction.
• Develop detailed manufacturing plans, including material, labor, and delivery estimates.
• Prepare and review worksheets showing expected margins and profit levels.
• Collaborate closely with production and management teams to ensure quotes are delivered on time and within target margins.
• Participate in team meetings, sharing ideas for improvement and reviewing win/loss quote results.
• Communicate clearly with customers about blueprint inconsistencies and project details.
• Help identify and resolve discrepancies between estimated and actual job costs.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in metal manufacturing or a related industry.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong computer skills – MS Word, Excel (intermediate level), and Outlook.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems preferred.
• Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• PPE required on production floor (safety glasses and approved footwear).
