Corrugate Recycler Associate

Work Schedule: Shifts can vary, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a manual pallet jack to manage full gondolas (large trash bins) and replace them with empty ones.
  • Transport full corrugate gondolas to designated balers or compactors (training provided).
  • Keep areas around gondolas free of debris and trash.
  • Diligently dust, mop, and sweep around trash receptacles to maintain cleanliness.
  • Ensure traffic areas are clear of debris for safety.
  • Organize and maintain tidiness in Auger/Baler/Compactor areas.
  • Perform additional janitorial duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use a manual pallet jack and lift/move gondolas weighing 75+ lbs.
  • Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching above and below the waist.
  • Consistent ability to push/pull manual pallet jacks with heavy loads.
  • Frequent walking within the facility throughout shifts.
  • Capacity to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance documents (primarily in English, may also be in Spanish as needed).
  • Background check and drug test required.

KBS utilizes a mobile app for timekeeping and attendance management. All non-exempt employees must download and use the app to clock in and out for their shifts. Cell phone reimbursement is available to support work-related tasks.
