Key Responsibilities:

Develop Personalized Learning Plans: Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique strengths, needs, and learning goals.
Engage with Diverse Teaching Strategies: Use a variety of teaching methods and tools to reach students effectively, adapting to different learning styles and needs.
Monitor and Report Progress: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and their families to ensure steady development.
Stay Current in Special Education Practices: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of special education regulations and emerging best practices.

Qualifications:

Valid Virginia Special Education Teaching License
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience working with students with diverse educational needs.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using technology for remote instruction, communication, and collaboration.
