Construction Project Manager – Ground-Up Commercial Construction

We’re partnered with a reputable Dallas-based General Contractor that delivers high-quality ground-up commercial projects across K-12, Municipal, Industrial, and Office sectors . With a solid pipeline of work and a trusted reputation in the industry, they’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction through completion
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
• Lead project planning meetings, RFIs, submittals, and contract negotiations
• Monitor cost control, project forecasts, and billing to ensure profitability
• Manage and resolve project issues, conflicts, and change orders
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, quality assurance, and building codes
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and building long-term relationships
• Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and clear scopes
• Drive project delivery that meets company standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on ground-up commercial construction projects

✅ Experience working on K-12, Municipal, Industrial, or Office projects is required

✅ Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including budget, schedule, and team coordination

✅ Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)

✅ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

✅ Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams

✅ Stable employment history – we’re looking for candidates with strong tenures, not frequent job changes
