Computer and Information Systems (CIS) Manager Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location: 2400 West Bridge Street, Owatonna, MN 55060

What you will do: Oversee the strategic and operational direction of the technical infrastructure of the organization. This includes PC and network (LAN/WAN) support and planning, information security, and VOIP system / voice communications.
- Manage the daily operation and integration of all aspects of the PC network (LAN's, and WAN's) to ensure timely support services and minimum downtime.
- Responsible for installing and supporting PC/LAN/WAN hardware, software, peripherals, communication links and technology; providing organizational project support, and managing department technology projects.
- Guides Delivery Systems and Technical Services Managers on personnel issues including employee evaluations, hiring recommendations, promotions, and corrective actions.
- Develops and maintains all the policies, standards and procedures related to the system and provides published instructional manuals and documents to help users effectively use the system to support the organizational and business goals and to ensure the security of company data and data systems.
- Develops annual technology plan - performs research, evaluates, recommends, seeks funding, and develops capital and maintenance budgets for all aspects of the credit union's LAN's, WAN's, and PC systems. Develops IT policies and procedures.
- Conducts research, identifies vendors, develops requests for proposals (RFP), analyzes proposals, and recommends sound strategies for both small and large-scale technical projects.
- Responsible for developing and updating the Disaster Recovery Plan for the company in concert with internal requirements and the requirements of external governing agencies.
- Develops reporting processes that track and monitor performance and makes appropriate adjustments for improvement as might be necessary from time to time.
- Updates operating procedures and issues written and oral instructions to computer operators to ensure maximum productivity and utilization of the computer capacity.
- Accountable for administering and maintaining all security programs, both internal and third-party systems and advising management of any potential security threats.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Represents the credit union in a courteous and professional manner. Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service to members as needed. Maintains member confidentiality.
- Support the strategic direction of the Credit Union and the Business Plan Goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Using the Credit Union "Service Standards" as a foundation, demonstrates ongoing commitment to exceptional service to members, potential members, and other Credit Union staff.
- Project a positive, professional image in all interactions with internal and external members.
- Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance to required shifts, meetings, trainings, and related employment engagements to support position responsibilities and duties.
What you have: - A bachelor's degree Computer Science, Technology, or related field of study.
- 5+ years management experience in applications and technical services.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business programs.
- Ability to work as a member of a team in daily operation of the Credit Union.
- Ability to maintain a business-like composure with others in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task, prioritize activities and manage change.
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing and presentation.
- Regular full-time attendance.
- Knowledge of banking and/or credit union regulations is preferred.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment managing a wide variety of tasks.
