Position Overview

We’re seeking someone with a strong foundation in Computer Science to join our team at iCode Scottsdale. The ideal candidate is passionate about inspiring students, tailoring their approach to meet individual needs, and fostering an environment where students not only learn but thrive in mastering the iCode Beltsystem.

As an iCode Instructor, you’ll leverage your experience to create engaging, hands-on lessons that promote creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. You’ll be responsible for delivering structured curriculum, evaluating student progress, and guiding both students and instructors to ensure overall campus success.

This position offers year-round opportunities, with part-time hours during the school year and the potential for full-time work over the summer as we expand our camp offerings. We’re looking for someone eager to grow with us, and make a lasting impact on our students’ learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Duties
• Teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by iCode.
• Manage an orderly classroom at all times.
• Assess, record and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behavior of students.
• Provide weekly communication and updates to parents on a weekly basis.
• Treats students equally and fairly.
• Present a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain exceptional classroom standards.
• Provide meaningful feedback about class material and student dynamics in the classroom in weekly status reports.
• Operational & Administrative Duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Classroom management
• Experience in HTML, JavaScript, Alice, and Python.
• Experience in .NET MAUI is desirable
• Experience with DJI Tello Drones is desirable
• Experience using Construct 3, UE5 and Unity is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Apple computers, devices, and operating systems.
• General knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Positive attitude, outgoing and excellent people skills.
• Dependable and flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with students ranging from K-12.
• Strong problem–solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Being able to perform well under pressure.
