About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to play a key role in shaping and implementing its technology strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation and operational excellence, leading the IT department, and collaborating with C-level executives to leverage technology for business growth and process improvement. This pivotal position involves developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy that is aligned with business goals, leading the selection and implementation of innovative technology solutions, and ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data. The CIO will also be tasked with managing the IT department's budget and resources, fostering a culture of innovation, and evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the construction sector. Applicants for the CIO role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a preference for those holding an MBA or other advanced degree. A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in IT leadership, particularly with a strong understanding of current and emerging technologies in the construction industry, is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, a proven track record in developing and implementing strategic IT initiatives, and experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and complex projects. Desired qualifications include a background in the construction industry, knowledge of IT security best practices, and a successful history of digital transformation initiatives.
