About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to oversee the planning, direction, and management of its information technology operations and staff. The CIO will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of information processing and computer applications, in compliance with internal and legal regulations. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to determine technical solutions that meet the organization's needs, developing and implementing long- and short-term IT plans, and advising on IT activities and initiatives. The successful candidate will also be tasked with identifying and integrating emerging technologies to keep the organization competitive and current in its IT infrastructure and services. Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years' of experience in IT management, including a minimum of 4 years' in a supervisory role. The role requires a deep understanding of computerized information management, system design, programming, and IT problem-solving. Proficiency in budgeting, strategic planning, and knowledge of local, state, and federal IT regulations is essential. The CIO will be expected to have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage and evaluate staff, and to develop and implement IT policies and procedures. Good communication skills and the ability to make strategic decisions at the highest organizational levels are also necessary.
