Position Summary
Gulf Winds Credit Union in search of an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join their team. This is a strategic role, reporting directly to the CEO, that is instrumental in driving financial results and shaping the future of a high-performing credit union. The CFO is responsible for ensuring the organization's short-term and long-term financial stability, and the successful candidate will offer strategic guidance and oversight across accounting, finance, and risk management functions. They will craft and implement comprehensive strategies and initiatives to foster the credit union's sustained growth and stability. Other responsibilities include monitoring the performance of the credit union and the economic environment to mitigate risks, with a primary oversight of liquidity and interest rate risk. The ideal candidate will possess either a master's degree or a bachelor's degree coupled with a professional certification, and a minimum of five years of senior executive management experience is required. Additionally, a track record of ten-plus years of progressively responsible roles in managing Accounting and Finance functions, including experience in Asset Liability Management. Experience in Risk Management or Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is a plus.
