About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and expansion. The CFAO will be responsible for leading and overseeing all business and financial management activities, including bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting, and financial forecasting. This role demands a strategic and agile leader who can ensure the cost-effectiveness of expenses, develop long-term financial plans, and actively monitor the organization's financial status. The successful candidate will also be involved in analyzing the cost-effectiveness of programs, advising on pricing strategies, and partnering with the development team to meet grant goals. Administrative leadership is a key aspect of the position, with responsibilities that include overseeing internal logistics, managing real estate holdings, and leading a team of finance and operations professionals. The ideal candidate for the CFAO position at the company will have a passion for its mission and a deep understanding of financial management in a not-for-profit setting. A CPA license is strongly preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. The candidate should be a common-sense problem solver, a logical thinker, and a proactive financial leader with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and experience in administrative management are essential. The role also requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, the ability to mentor and supervise staff, and a commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
