Position Title: Cherry Picker Operator

Wage: $18/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8am-5pm

We are searching for candidates with previous cherry picker (also known as order picker) forklift experience and longevity in their work history! This role is available on 1st shift and offers several benefits once hired on, including bonuses and flexible scheduling. Please include an updated work history when applying. Cherry Picker Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Process orders by physically scanning and picking product and placing onto a cart; items range between 2-50 pounds in weight

- Arrange product to fit into various gaylords (large cardboard box that is placed on a pallet)

- Scan transfer orders with RF scanner

- Scan PID label and scan location label for product put away; review computer to confirm items are processed systemically

- Maintain organization of materials

- Take finished gaylords to the pallet wrapper and stage them; place into racks and load them into a box truck

- Maintain clean work area

Cherry Picker Operator Requirements:

- Continuous lifting or moving of lightweight materials; must be able to infrequently lift up to 50 pounds

- Continuous bending, stretching, and walking on cement floors

- Must be able to operate a crown cherry picker

- Ability to operate a reach truck and sit down forklift is a plus

- Fall protection will be worn; Operators may have to pick from high locations (Level 6 racking)

- Pickers will have to routinely lift 50 pounds or more

- RF scanner skills are a plus

- Attention to detail

- Attendance is most important; tardiness and unexcused absences will not be tolerated
