Start as a Utility Helper, gaining hands-on experience and training. Then, progress to a Chemical Operator role through our comprehensive certification program.
As a Chemical Operator, you'll be responsible for processing sodium ISO containers, handling supplies and shipments, conducting maintenance, and overseeing production with a DCS.
This position offers a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (four days on, four days off).

Key Responsibilities - ISO Container Management: Heating, emptying, and switching ISO containers.
- Material Handling & Maintenance: Unloading raw materials, filter changes, sampling, cleaning equipment, loading/unloading products, equipment setup, preventive maintenance, product packaging, and warehouse support.
- Documentation: Recording inventory, environmental, and process readings.
- Process Monitoring & Control: Taking readings, learning and operating the DCS, monitoring the process, communicating issues, and making adjustments.
- Flexibility: Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or Operations Manager.
Minimum Requirements Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent.

Candidates with direct experience as a Chemical Operator, DOE.
Salary Ranges: - Utility Helper 1 - $21.50 to $27.95
- Utility Helper 2 - $24.00 to $31.20
- Operator - $26.00 to $33.80
- Operator C - $30.00 to $36.40
In general, most new hires progress to Operator A within their first three years of employment. Operator A starts at $36.50.
This position is eligible to participate in our Plant Incentive Bonus (PIB) at 6%. Eligibility is determined based on individual and plant performance pertaining to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Quality, and Production.
