Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (OR Tech CST)

Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (Start times range between 06:30 AM 09:30 AM; End times vary between 07:00 PM 11:00 PM depending on need; Weekend and On-Call Required)

Summary:
We are seeking a Certified OR Tech (CST) for a 13-week contract. This is a fast-paced surgical environment covering a wide range of specialties with weekend shifts and on-call requirements. Ideal candidates will bring strong inpatient scrub experience and a proactive team attitude. Da Vinci Xi experience is a must.
Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgery
Scrub in on a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
Assist the surgical team during procedures including instrument handling, patient prep, and surgical support
Maintain equipment, tools, and OR environment
Rotate through weekend shifts and on-call schedules as required
Float to sister facility Outpatient Surgery Pavilion (3 OR suites) as needed
Types of Required Cases:
General Surgery, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Total Joints, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, GYN (e.g., abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy), C-sections, D&C
Preferred Cases:
Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, ENT, Robotic-assisted GYN, SPD experience
Scrub Experience: Required
Inpatient Experience: Required
On-call: Yes, as needed
Weekend Shifts: Yes
Shift Coverage: May work a mix of 3x12 and additional on-call shifts (not block-scheduled)
RTO: Must be submitted at time of submission for approval
Local Radius: Within 50 miles
Special Requirements: Must have experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic System
Education:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent CST experience in acute care surgical settings
License/Certifications:
BLS (AHA Required)
CST Certification (Preferred/Required by facility; verify at time of submission)
Skills:
Strong scrubbing skills across a wide range of surgical specialties
Ability to work variable shifts and handle fast-changing priorities
Familiarity with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical systems
Team-oriented with excellent communication
