About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join its Center for Career Development and Academic Exploration. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group career coaching to undergraduate and graduate students in designated majors, assisting with the development and implementation of career plans, and delivering presentations and programs related to career development. The role also involves building relationships within the career community to create opportunities for experiential learning, networking, and job searching, as well as supporting employers in their hiring needs. Applicants must have a Master's degree within one month of hire, with a preference for a degree in a related field. A minimum of one academic year of experience working with college students or clients on career development or job searching topics is required. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to plan and coordinate events, and a solid understanding of job search strategies and career development theories. Experience with online career database systems and a proven ability to build relationships across diverse populations are also preferred.
