About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to join their team. The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing personalized guidance, support, and resources to clients at various stages of their job search journey. This role involves one-on-one coaching, curriculum development, and facilitation of virtual and in-person workshops. The Career Coach will work with a diverse range of job seekers, including the unemployed, underemployed, individuals in mid-career transition, and those from underserved communities. Responsibilities include managing a client caseload, evaluating client skills and barriers to employment, and teaching job search strategies. The role also requires the ability to inspire and motivate clients, as well as the flexibility to adapt content for different audiences. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years' of recent career coaching experience, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in outplacement, workforce development, or a related field, and experience working with diverse populations. Proficiency in resume writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to facilitate workshops are essential. The role also requires the ability to work under pressure, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. A Certified Employment Coach or Resume Writer certification, bilingual in English and Spanish, and experience with career and personality assessments are preferred.
