Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cabinet Maker will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and wooden furniture according to specifications, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions, materials, and construction methods.
• Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, sanders, drills, and other power tools, to cut, shape, and prepare wood components.
• Assemble and fit cabinet components, such as drawers, doors, and shelves, using joinery techniques like dovetails, dowels, and mortise and tenon.
• Sand, stain, and finish cabinets to achieve the desired look and ensure surfaces are smooth and free of defects.
• Repair and refurbish existing cabinetry and furniture as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
