We have one of the largest business immigration practices in the United States; our immigration practice group consists of experienced and dedicated immigration lawyers and paralegals who work with domestic and international corporations and businesses in developing appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees.

Our Washington, DC office has an opportunity for an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join their fast-paced business immigration practice! Under attorney supervision, the immigration paralegal is responsible for the preparation and filing of L-1 and EB-1 visa applications. The paralegal compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts petitions, maintains and organizes client documentation, and communicates directly with multiple attorneys.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • 2+ years of employment-based Immigration Paralegal experience required, preferably in a large law firm environment.
  • Knowledge of the NIV (Nonimmigrant Visa) process, specifically in (Visa Type).
  • Successful candidates will possess strong writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and work independently toward team goals.
  • Outstanding organizational skills are required.
  • Be able to multi-task and work independently toward team goals.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

Benefits:

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $64,792 and $98,400. In accordance with New York Citys Wage Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this New York City position is between $68,800 and $105,600. In accordance with Californias amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $61,100 and $116,000. In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities act, the expected salary range for this Washington position is between $63,200 and $94,800. In accordance with the Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act, the expected salary range for this DC position is between $72,900 and $112,400. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
