Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • \nDrive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently.
  • \n
  • \nGreet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment.
  • \n
  • Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
  • \n
  • \nOther duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.
  • \n
\n

Physical requirements include the ability to:

\n
    \n
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • \n
  • Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions
  • \n
  • Lift, push, pull, and carry tools, objects, or equipment above shoulder level without assistance.
  • \n
  • Move up and down stairs easily.
  • \n
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • \n
\n


Qualifications:

\n

Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

\n
    \n
  • \nA valid drivers’ license in good standing with the ability to obtain a CDL permit.
  • \n
  • \nPossess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
  • \n
\n
