• Job Description:

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our construction and masonry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laying brick, block, and stone for both structural and decorative purposes.

This role is perfect for a professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, understands masonry layouts, and can work independently or as part of a crew on residential, commercial, and restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of masonry to build or repair walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys, and more
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Mix mortar and ensure proper consistency
• Use levels, plumb bobs, and squares to ensure proper alignment and structure
• Cut bricks and blocks to fit corners, arches, or irregular shapes
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean job site
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other tradespeople on-site
• Maintain and care for tools and materials

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional bricklaying or masonry experience
• Strong understanding of masonry tools, materials, and methods
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction drawings
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and good attendance
• OSHA certification is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• High school diploma or GED preferred
