Position: STOCKROOM ASSOCIATE

AS A STOCKROOM ASSOCIATE A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

• Being part of a team that drives sales through delivering legendary guest experiences
• Receiving deliveries and unloading merchandise from truck
• Processing merchandise received and preparing stock for selling floor placement
• Executing timely implementation of store merchandising direction, standards, product flow, inventory flexing, adjacencies, planograms, and store operations functions to ensure consistency of brand experience
• Maintaining organization and housekeeping duties in stockroom and receiving areas
• Engaging in teamwork to accomplish goals
• Performing all tasks safely to prevent guest and employee accidents
• Performs other duties as assigned

  WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BEALLS AND HOME CENTRIC STOCKROOM ASSOCIATE:

• Prior receiving, processing, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred
• Must have strong verbal communication skills
• Work both independently and with a team to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and achieve goals
• Helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Utilization of PDA and POS Systems
• Ability to work varying hours and schedules to include days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry at least 30 pounds
• Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e. – bending, stopping, twisting, and reaching)
• Must be able to climb a 12ft ladder for maintaining and displaying merchandise
• Must be able to reach a minimum of 60 inches for stocking and maintaining merchandise
• Must possess reliable transportation
