Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our FICC Back Office Operations team in New York. The Associate will play a critical role in supporting daily operations for Money Market, Foreign Exchange, and Derivatives transactions, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and compliance with internal and external requirements. This is a dynamic position that requires flexibility, a strong grasp of the trade lifecycle, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform trade processing and settlement activities for Money Market, FX, and Derivatives transactions
- Verify and confirm trades with counterparties, ensuring accurate booking and timely settlement
- Conduct daily account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Rotate in performing end-of-day clearing responsibilities, including Federal Reserve account activities
- Provide high-quality service to internal teams and external partners
- Assist in departmental projects and contribute to process improvements
- Maintain and strengthen internal control processes and adhere to compliance protocols
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, BSA/AML requirements, and regulatory obligations
- Represent DNB in communications with external vendors and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycle operations
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with SWIFT, ISO messaging formats, and reconciliation systems
- Knowledge of Murex is a plus
Experience:
- Relevant professional experience in Back Office Operations within the financial industry
- Exposure to international banking systems and settlement platforms
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a control-focused, high-stakes environment
