Job Description
Our client is seeking a CAD Drafter to sit in Troy Michigan to support a short term project (2-3 weeks long). This Drafter should be capable of creating a proper and professional title block, cover sheet, index and other general artifacts, and should be capable of creating and assigning external references, scales, layers, and plot files according to best practices.
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Formal Computer-aided drafting training/certification is preferred
Experience:
- 2 years of drafting experience using AutoDesk AutoCAD, preferably in electrical or telecom trades
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Able to read and comprehend engineering schematics
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
