Assistant Property Manager
Location: Westlake Village, CA

Our client, a well-established real estate investment and property management firm, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join their team in Westlake Village. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the property management field.

The Assistant Property Manager will support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of properties, with responsibilities ranging from tenant relations to financial oversight. The right candidate will be highly organized, skilled at managing multiple priorities, and comfortable interacting with tenants, vendors, ownership, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CAM reconciliations, budgeting, invoice processing, and work order management.
• Prepare and review reports, including property budgets and expense reconciliations.
• Respond promptly to emails, calls, and tenant inquiries to ensure excellent customer service.
• Manage tenant onboarding and move-out processes.
• Support lease administration, including insurance compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous Assistant Property Management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and property budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, elevators, fire-life safety, plumbing, electrical) preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
