We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Assistant Project Manager. This is a pivotal role that requires a blend of technical, managerial, and communication skills. The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. The role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Project Manager in all aspects of the project lifecycle, including initial planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure clear communication and smooth project progression.
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Identifying and managing project risks and issues, proposing effective solutions when necessary.
  • Ensuring that all projects are completed within the defined scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Assisting in the procurement process, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Providing regular project updates to the Project Manager and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
  • Proven ability to manage all aspects of a construction project, from initial planning to final delivery.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, processes, and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software tools.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CM) is a plus.
