Assembler I

Department: Flooring

Shift: 4:00am-2:30pm Monday-Thursday

Overtime may be required

The company’s state of the art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. Responsibilities Perform repetitive motions following a prescribed routine. Demonstrate capability in assembling finished and semi-finished parts. Able to read and comprehend prints. Able to operate required machinery in the area. Understand proper quality control standards and perform QC inspections. Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.) May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening. Previous experience preferred. Welding experience is a plus. Able to read tape measure, pressure gauge, and precision measurement tools. Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time. Lift 25 lbs. repetitively. Production facility exposed to continual machine noise.
