As Built Drafting Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide exceptional services to VA Palo Alto Healthcare System (VAPAHCS) in Palo Alto, CA. You will be responsible in providing drawings to track changes according to construction project.
Job Description: - Provide an AS Built drawings of completed construction projects
- Create drawings reflecting all changes made during construction process including modifications on materials, changes in location, changes made after or in response during insoection and final exact project dimensions
- Prepare report and proper documentations
- Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings to meet established standards and guidelines
- Conduct thorough checks to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in drafts
- Provide regular updates on the progress of drafting projects and address any concerns or modifications promptly
- Other tasks that may be assigned
Duties and Responsibilities: - Minimum of three (3) years or more experience in the drafting of interior design or architecture for commercial and industrial buildings
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or REVIT is required
- Ability to interpret Architectural/Engineering plans
- Ability to review drawings for completeness and accuracy
- Ability to obtain and assemble data to complete FF&E drawing documents and visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary
- Ability to work with interior designers & medical equipment planners regarding drawing documentation standards
- Ability to handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.
