Armed Shelter Security Officer

Schedules: Full time & Part-time

Full time:
Monday to Friday 3:00PM - 11:00PM
$27.00 - $28.00 based off of experience

Part-time:
Saturday and Sunday 11:00PM - 7:00AM
$27.00 -$29.00 based off of experience (Starting as soon as possible)

Location: Boston, MA
Pay range: $27.00 - $29.00 hourly

Job Description:

As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Monitoring premises through patrols or surveillance systems
Enforcing access control measures and verifying individuals' credentials
Responding to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively
Writing detailed incident reports
Providing excellent customer service and assistance to visitors and employees
Collaborating with local law enforcement when necessary

Requirements:

Must have an unrestricted LTC
Must have a minimum of 2 years armed private security experience or prior military/law enforcement
Must qualify and attend: firearms qualification course (rounds, targets, and range time provided).
Must be able to pass firearms qualification bi-annually
Must own a firearm and equipment
The successful candidate must also possess a stable work history, reliability, excellent communication skills, full computer literacy and a team player.
