An established Community Hospital in the Bronx is currently seeking a dedicated Medical Director of Addiction Medicine to lead our addiction treatment programs About the opportunity: Setting: Hospital based outpatient units Hours: Full-time, standard business hours Responsibilities: The Medical Director will Directly supervise two Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and one Physician Assistant (PA) in addiction medicine. Provide administrative oversight for a team of counselors and nurses in the addiction program. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, DEA, and state regulatory requirements. Serve as a key advisor in program development, performance improvement, and policy-making. Qualifications: MD or DO with board certification in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry. Fellowship-trained in Addiction Medicine (mandatory for certification). Eligible for certification by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM).
