Addiction Medicine - Westchester County, NY (Just Outside NYC) Clinical Opportunity Overview: We're seeking a dedicated Addiction Medicine Psychiatrist to join a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care for individuals with substance use disorders (SUD). This is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting blend of inpatient detox/rehab services and outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) (including Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Methadone ). Key Responsibilities: Assess and manage patients presenting with withdrawal symptoms. Evaluate and initiate MAT protocols. Collaborate closely with a team of counselors, nurses, and psychiatric providers. Ensure continuity of care post-discharge. Supervise medical students and contribute to training. Partner with the Medical Director on quality improvement and implementation of evidence-based practices. Ideal Candidate: Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry (preferred, not required). Buprenorphine waiver required. Experience in inpatient detoxification/rehabilitation preferred.
