Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical intern to join our Experience Analysis team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the comprehensive analysis of mortality and lapse experience data. Your insights will be crucial for various business purposes. Responsibilities Support team through active participation in team meetings Analyze seriatim and other data for use in preparing mortality and lapse studies Analyze mortality and lapse study results and assess their usefulness for pricing or other purposes Analyze product, underwriting, or other company information for any influences on mortality, historical and prospective Study the factors which influence insured mortality and their relative effect Handle other tasks, as needed, to accomplish the goals of the Experience Analysis team or other actuarial functions Qualifications Experience: Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge and skills with the ability to problem solve Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team Understanding of advanced Excel functions Strong computer skills including learning new software and Microsoft Office products Required Education Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. Passed at least one actuarial exam. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance.
