Accountant

Accountant-Folsom, CA

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and experience in accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance and identify discrepancies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
