A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Compliance Engineering Intern at MKS’s Power Solutions in Rochester, NY, you will partner with Compliance Engineering to support compliance testing and documentation control. In this role, you will report to the Compliance Engineering Manager - Kaisone Vasavong.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Support safety & EMC testing of RF Generators with Sr Engineers in a lab environment.
• Update compliance documentation at the managers direction.
• Partner with Compliance Engineering to support compliance testing and documentation control
• No travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
• Enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program in Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering or relevant majors
• 40 hours a week for the Summer 2025 (June to August)
• Summer 2025 intern/co-op within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
• Some knowledge of technical documentation such as BOM, schematics, and drawings.
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and gather information on a global level.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
